Principal Landscape Architect
Growing up in the Northwest, Chad hiked and explored the many parks, forests, and trail systems in the region. These early experiences gave him a deep appreciation for northwest landscapes and plant material. Chad mixes his familiarity of the northwest's natural environments with an appreciation for contemporary design and materials in his own personal design style. He has experience designing neighborhood and regional parks, community gardens, green-built projects, as well as many residential gardens and landscapes.
Chad is a founding partner of Studio 342. He earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Washington in 1999, and became a licensed landscape architect in the State of Washington in 2004. Chad has also served as a faculty lecturer in the Landscape Architecture Department at the University of Washington since 2005.
